When her brother Brett is attacked and left for dead, Zoe Weaver and Lieutenant Adam 'Hawk' Yazzie work together to discover if one of his SEAL teammates is responsible for his injuries. But will loyalties forged on the battlefield prove more binding than the truth? Or their love?

“My brother doesn’t live my life for me, Hawk. I’ll sleep with whomever I want, when I want.” She pointed a finger at him. “And Brett’s approval or disapproval won’t have a damn thing to do with it when it happens.”
He caught the waving finger, and his lips quirked with amusement. “Understood.” His gray eyes focused on her face and his smile died.
Zoe’s stomach quivered at the sudden intensity of his expression. “I’m not looking for your approval either,” she said. Her voice sounded weak and breathless.
“All right.”
His acquiescence fired her temper and hurt her feelings. She tugged at her finger, breaking his grip. He stepped close and surprised, she tilted her head back to look up at him.
Placing an arm on either side, he hemmed her in against the counter, his body a breath away from hers. Her pulse leaped and she pressed a hand against his chest. The heat of his skin seeped into her palm like liquid fire.
Hawk’s gray eyes narrowed. “I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place here. I promised your mom I’d look out for you.” His throat worked as he swallowed and his voice grew husky. “I don’t think fantasizing about taking her daughter to bed was exactly what she had in mind.”
The knot of tension in the pit of her stomach dissolved as excitement raced through her to settle, tingling and hot, between her legs. Was it possible to have an orgasm just thinking about making love? If he plastered that long, lean, masculine body up against hers, she might just achieve her very first one without his ever having to touch her.
“I’m trying to take things slow here, Zoe.”
She bit back a groan. If he went any slower, she might just dwell on all the reasons she shouldn’t get involved with him, and chicken out all together. Her eyes fastened on the hard, fast beating pulse just beneath the skin of his throat. She rose on tiptoe and pressed an open mouthed kiss there. His skin tasted of chlorine and heat.
He caught his breath, and his hand splayed against the small of her back and pulled her against him. The firm ridge of his arousal pushed against her stomach. When she leaned back to look up at him, he kissed her, the hungry pressure of his lips hot and insistent.
The tempting touch of his tongue against hers intensified the empty ache inside her. Zoe slid one arm around his neck and strained upward to fit herself against his tall frame more fully. She ran the other hand up his back, caressing his smooth, muscled flesh.
He cupped her buttocks guiding her closer, urging her legs apart as he thrust one long thigh between hers. Though she ached with need, she fought the compulsion to rub against the steady pressure of his leg. Hawk had no such reservation. He rocked against her, and Zoe groaned as the movement titillated the over-sensitized area between her thighs driving her closer to the edge.
“Daddy does that to Mommy, sometimes.” The sound of a child’s voice had them both freezing.
Hawk broke the kiss, his breathing ragged, his cheeks flushed. He looked toward the door leading out onto the deck. “I bet.” He shifted putting some space between his lower body and hers.
Zoe stifled a sound somewhere between a laugh and a groan. At least the counter had blocked from view what else had been going on. She turned to look over her shoulder at seven-year-old Tad, the oldest of the Marks children. His red-blond hair, still wet from the pool, stood on end, but there was nothing in his expression that warranted concern.
“Mommy said the burgers were ready when you were.”
Ready? Her face and ears burned with embarrassment.
Hawk’s gaze dropped to hers, amusement in his expression. “Tell your mom, we’ll be right there, Tad.”
The door shut behind the boy.
Feeling exposed and vulnerable, Zoe turned her back to Hawk. “I was supposed to be slicing tomatoes and onions for the burgers.” He pressed against her from behind, and her legs went rubbery. The soft warmth of his lips against the back of her neck sent delightful shivers down her spine.
“I’ll slice the tomatoes, while you do the onions.” He gathered three tomatoes in one hand and moved to the sink.
His touch lingered on her skin and she had to concentrate on slowing her breathing. She wrinkled her nose at him. “Let me guess, aside from the smell, you just don’t want me to see you cry.”
“Sweetheart, I almost did when Tad opened that door.”

Review by Abby: 5 stars *****
Meeting Jenna, being abused and her father didn't care really broke my heart. Wishing someone would just take her out of that house, is what happened when Chipper comes into the clubhouse to handle some business.  When Jenna meets Kidd, Chippers brother, they both knew that they belonged to each other, but they also had to wait till she was of age.
But when Kidd had to go back to the clubhouse that Jenna came from, he meets Sarah, a girl that I never grown to like. Being there almost a year and Jenna grows up, and when Kid comes home he knows right then that he has to make Jenna his old lady. But with Sarah tagging along that wasn't going to happen the way he its to.
Kicking Sarah out and going to Jenna on her 18th birthday to claim her was what they both wanted all along, but when Kidd gets a phone call that Sarah as been in a horrible car accident, Kidd leaves Jenna to go be with her. When Sarah dies, and Jenna goes to Kidd, he says such hurtful things that Jenna hates Kidd. That is how she got the name "Ice".
Being hateful toward Kidd for 6 years is all it takes when Kidd demands Jenna to be his old lady, wanting to fight it, but knowing this is the only home she has ever known, she can't fight it long. She knows she wants to be with Kidd just as bad.
Putting their difference aside finally, they give into each other the truth they have both been waiting for. Kidd loves Jenna, just has Jenna loves Kidd. But when Krista, Sarah's kid sister comes into town, and starts putting moves on Kidd, Jenna knows something isn't right. Finally Krista comes clean and tells Jenna and Kidd what is going on, that is when they know Timmons, Jenna ex-abuser, is in town and looking for her.
Doing what they have to do, Timmons ends up dead, and Jenna & Kidd get their happy ending.
I can't wait to read the Daisy & Preach's Story!! Well done ladies!

When she catches him in bed with another woman, her world is turned upside down. Left to pick up the pieces of her shattered life, she takes on a new persona—a promiscuous one. This new role protects her heart from ever being broken again.

Andi now lives by a set of rules. The game? Sex with a new pawn every weekend. Every Friday, she sets her sight on a new sexy, successful man to play along—no strings attached, please. When Monday rolls around, she kicks them to the curb and moves on. It has helped her get through the pain of her past—that is, until she meets Jackson.

The mysterious Jackson is excited to play her game. He too has had his heart broken in the past and isn’t looking for a repeat. Eventually, hearts get involved and Andi wonders if the game is still worth playing.

Will she look for a new pawn or will she break the rules with Jackson?

Author Bio: I’m a thirty-two-year-old self-proclaimed book nerd.  Married to for nearly eleven years, my husband and I enjoy spending time with our two lovely children.  Writing is a newly acquired fun hobby for me.  In the past, I’ve enjoyed the role as a reader.  However, recently, I learned that I absolutely love taking on the creative role as the writer.  Something about determining how the story will play out intrigues me to no end.  My husband claims that it’s because I like to control things—in a way, he’s right!
By day, I run around from appointment to appointment, wearing many hats including, mom, wife, part-time graphic designer, blogger, networker, social media stalker, student, business owner, and book boyfriend hunter.  (It’s actually a thing—complete with pink camo.  I lurk around the internet, “researching” pictures of hot guys who fit the profile of whatever book boyfriend I’m reading or writing about)
I guess you can blame my obsession with books on my lovely grandmother, who is quite possibly my favorite person on the planet.  At an early age, she took me to the half-priced bookstore each weekend and allowed me to choose a book.  Every single time, she caved when I begged for two.  Without her encouragement, I wouldn’t have been able to cope during some hard times without my beloved books.
Currently, I am finishing up my college degree that has taken me forever to complete.  It’s just on the list of my many “bucket-list” goals that I subject myself to.
Most days, you can find me firmly planted in front of my computer.  It’s my life.  If the world ever loses power, I’d be one of the first to die—of boredom!  But I guess as long as I have books and a light, I might just survive.
Looking forward, you can expect to see two more novels in the Breaking the Rules Series.  I’m nearly finished with the third.  Also, I have a standalone novel that will be released soon as well.
This writing experience has been a blast, and I’ve met some really fabulous people along the way.  I hope my readers enjoy reading my stories as much as I do writing them.  I look forward to connecting with you all!

Review By A: 5*****
- Let me just start out saying, this an amazing book! I haven't been able to get into a book lately but as soon as I picked this one up, I was sucked in!! Can't wait to read more from this author!
Andi's life was destroyed when she walks in on her fiance, sleeping with someone else. Not knowing what to do with herself, she hides out in her dorm room and not leaving.  After graduation, she does something she didn't on intend on doing, but that one step changed her life forever. Andi gets help, help that she didn't want but knew she had to take. Thanks to her best friend, Pepper.
Andie meets Jackson at a local bar, after he over hears her laying out the ground rules to her very own game. Not knowing what they were both getting into, Jackson accepted. - A weekend is what they have, a weekend that they can not go back on after its up. During this weekend of fun, Andi nor Jackson meant to fall inlove with each other. It just happened.
Bray is the guy that I want to hurt,  the one that broke Andi. When the doctor told Bray that Andi's healing would be better without him around, he agreed and left her alone. But 5 months later when Bray is also hired at the same building that Andi, now works at, things just get... rocky. Oh, did i forget to mention that Jackson is Andi's new boss. SURPRISE!
No one saw that coming at the least. - but in the end, you get to to see two broken people that were not looking for love, to fall inlove.
K.Webster -this is an amazing book and I can't wait to read more!!!
