Blog Tour/Review: Slow Burn by K. Bromberg

Amazon US:

Amazon UK:

Reeling from the sudden loss of her sister, Haddie Montgomery has sworn off relationships. All she wanted from Beckett Daniels was a sexy distraction to help her escape her pain for just a little while....There weren’t supposed to be any strings attached—so why can’t she shake the memory of that unforgettable night from her thoughts? Or the taste of his kiss from her lips?

No matter how hard Haddie tries to forget about him, Becks relentlessly tries to prove that she should start living for today. But she is determined to avoid romantic commitment, and she can always use her ex-boyfriend’s reappearance to help snuff out the slow burn within her that Becks has sparked....

Or will fate force her to realize that this kind of connection doesn’t come along very often and a chance at love is worth the risk?

REVIEW:Beck's.  Beck's. Beck's.  I've fallen for him, and I don't think I'll every recover from this book.   It was everything I expected.... AND. MORE!! This book seriously had me like "what the what?!" Beck's character is a total Alpha, you can't go wrong there, he fights for what he wants and will not give up.  Haddie's story broke my heart, her losses, her struggles, her lack of allowing people in.   But in the end she overcomes what's thrown her way and my God am I SO HAPPY WITH THIS HEA. K. Bromberg has once again knocked my socks off! Slow Burn is a must read.

He chuckles low and even, a sarcastic amusement woven through the sound that pisses me off. “What are you afraid of? Why is his offer so much more tempting than mine, huh? Oh, I know why,” he says, sarcasm dripping from his words. “He’ll walk away without any questions. But I won’t will I, Haddie? I have plenty of questions. The first one being what exactly are you running from?”

My eyes flash up to meet his, and the look – the moment that passes between us – is too honest, too raw. I have to break it. I can’t let him see the truths that even I’m trying to hide from. How I feel and what I need to fix me – the answer being him – because I’m not going to allow it to happen.

I can feel it. I can know it. But he can’t.

My mind flashes back momentarily to the night of the wedding. Of how I asked him – gave him no other option really –to take me to bed. Did I know then that unzipping my dress for him and inviting him between my legs would lead to this? Me wanting so much more? Me standing in the middle of his apartment wanting to ask for more but unable to because of the fears that are holding me hostage?

Blog Tour/Review: Fighting Silence by Aly Martinez

Amazon UK:

Sound is an abstract concept for most people. We spend our lives blocking out the static in order to focus on what we believe is important. But what if, when the clarity fades into silence, it's the obscure background noise that you would give anything to hold on to?

I've always been a fighter. With parents who barely managed to stay out of jail and two little brothers who narrowly avoided foster care, I became skilled at dodging the punches life threw at me. Growing up, I didn’t have anything I could call my own, but from the moment I met Eliza Reynolds, she was always mine.  I became utterly addicted to her and the escape from reality we provided each other. Throughout the years, she had boyfriends and I had girlfriends, but there wasn't a single night that I didn’t hear her voice.

You see, meeting the love of my life at age thirteen was never part of my plan. However, neither was gradually going deaf at the age of twenty-one.

 They both happened anyway.

Now, I'm on the ropes during the toughest battles of my life.

Fighting for my career.

Fighting the impending silence.

Fighting for her.

Every night, just before falling asleep, she sighs as a final conscious breath leaves her.

I think that's the sound I'll miss the most.

REVIEW- 5 Stars!
Wow! This book was/is amazing. I loved the story line.  I loved the characters. I loved all the book, the happy & sad moments. "That wasn't yours to take away," he exploded into the otherwise silent night. His words echoed off the surrounding buildings, each wave slicing me to the quick all over again. "That was our place. Not yours." His voice cracked right alongside my heart.

"Yeah, well, there was a lot of stuff that wasn't yours to take either." I held his gaze, desperately trying to be strong, but as his eyes grew wide, I whimpered.

His long legs strode forward, stopping only inches away from me. He was crowding me, but he still leaned in closer to my face. "There is nothing in this world that was ever more mine than you," he stated. Though it was the absolute truth, I wished with all my heart that it were a lie.

"Till," I cried, swiping the tears from my eyes.

"Why!" he shouted, causing his muscles to tense under the force. "Goddamn it! I needed that place."

Porch lights flashed on from the surrounding apartments, illuminating not only the dark but also my rage.

I shoved my hands into his chest. "What about what I needed? You left! I waited in that fucking apartment for weeks."

He didn't budge, but my bare feet slipped, sending me toward the ground. Impossibly fast, Till's hand snaked out and caught my arm. I didn't let his chivalrous gesture douse my fire. I had six months’ worth of words to say to the man I was irrevocably in love with.

"You took what you wanted. Then you left me."

"Doodle," he whispered.

I had been perilously close to the edge of insanity, and with one single word, he’d pushed me over.

I lost it completely.

Pounding my fists against his chest, I screamed at the top of my lungs, "It's Eliza! My name is fucking Eliza! Not Doodle!" I spun to march away, but Till's arms folded around me, lifting me off my feet to restrain me.

I was miniscule compared to him. There was no use in fighting, but I still kicked my legs, irrationally desperate to get away from him—but only because I knew I couldn't keep him for forever.

"Stop it!" he growled into my ear. "I know your Goddamn name—probably better than I know my own."

Release Day: Beautiful Dangerous by Penny Dee

RDB banner

Title: Beautiful Dangerous

Author: Penny Dee

Synopsis: It seemed like a good idea at the time. Get over my break-up by having a one-night stand with a rock 'n' roll hottie and move on with my life. Going on tour as official photographer to the world’s number one band was not part of the plan.
Have you ever dreamed of being plucked out of the crowd by one of the hottest rock stars in the world?
I didn't even know who Ozstryker were when my reckless sister Beth dragged me along to their concert. I went solely to keep her out of trouble, not for me to get tangled up with the famous guitarist renowned for his magnificent shirtless torso and talented fast hands.
I had no intention of becoming a groupie, let alone anything else. But when Jax Ozstryker invited me on a date, I decided it was time for a little fun. Not that the night ended how I had planned – or how he planned, for that matter – I got a job and he didn't get laid.
Now I’m on tour with the biggest band in the world with my crazy, unpredictable sister for company and a beautiful dangerous attraction for my new boss. I never dreamed life could be so crazy. Or complicated.
But this is life on the road – where nothing makes sense and everything is possible.

About the Author:

I have written stories for as long as I can remember. I wrote my first book when I was five years old. It was called, The Goodies, and it was a short story about driving to the shops to get some milk. Needless to say, it was a very short book and hardly the page turner. It was also illustrated in orange felt tip pen because it was the only felt tip pen left in the pencil case that wasn’t dried up and useless.

My first attempt at writing romance was in high school when my athletic ambitions were replaced with Sunday sessions in my bestfriends bedroom, smoking cigarettes and writing smut about the hot guy at school. They were dreadfully crude stories. Lots of awkward fumblings in the dark or a series of awful first kisses. They were also very straight forward. Very straight to the point. Because I didn’t have a clue about what I was talking about. And I used terrible words such as “shaft”, “her moist warmth” and “velvet cavern”…yeah, they were awesome.
In following years I wisely gave up the cigarettes, became Mum to the “best kid in the world” and married a vastly understanding and supportive soul who tolerated the complete absence of my inner domestic goddess. Through a lot of trial and error, I think I may have started to write stories other people would want to read … without an orange felt tip pen in sight…

About The Author:
I love reading romance books! I feel like being able to lose yourself in a book in one of the more exciting aspects. The books I love to read and write will be ones that make you feel for the characters. You should have an opinion on every character in a book. Whether you love them, hate them, or think they are up to something.

I live in Philadelphia Pennsylvania with my husband, and three kids. On top of starting a writing career I am a full time student, and a full time mom. I love spending time with my kids, although I have to hide the computer from them when I am writing! I love being active and being able to do any activity outdoors.

I have always thought as an author the most important critic is your reader, so I would love to hear from you. If you read the book and loved it or hated it, tell me. As long as it is in a constructive way I will always answer and interact with you. I want fans to feel free to tell me what they want for the characters in the story and what they want to see happen.

Blog Tour/Review: Alpha & Omega by K. Webster

Alpha and Omega
by K Webster
Alpha and Omega #1
Publication Date: February 16, 2015
Genres: ContemporaryParanormalRomance

For six years, a tough wannabe guardian angel named Alpha has worked hard to prove his worth at HEA Corp. His partner, Omega, has been with him every step of the way. Known affectionately by the other ladies in their sector as Hottie and Dreamy, they’re the dynamic duo and a sure bet to become Seraph Guardians and get their wings. The elite SG protect the good souls of Earth from meeting untimely deaths.

Currently, Alpha and Omega are Minders who protect the not so innocent until HEL Enterprises, HEA’s sister company, sends their Reapers to collect what’s theirs. As training ends, the partners are made aware of their final assignment.
Lark Miller.

Alpha has read her file—she’s the worst of the worst—a drug addict loser with a dark, hidden past. On his final assignment, not only do they change the rules of the game by stripping these Minders of their powers and extending the terms of their protection, but they also send in one of HEL’s top Levarthians, a spicy Latina named Lovenia, to shake things up.

Alpha and Omega know they have to keep their heads in the game and their hearts free from distraction.

But what happens when a Minder develops feelings for the one they’re supposed to protect? What happens when the rules become unclear and things aren’t what they seem?

Will Alpha and Omega fly through this one last challenge and fulfill their destiny? Or is there a warm place waiting in the basement of HEL just for them should they fail?

5+ Stars!!
I've read paranormal romance, but Alpha and Omega has brought so much to it.  They Way K. Webster explains so many details, her work into giving you a view of that life. It actually made me think it was real. Alpha, a Guardian Angel In training with His friend Omega, they're on their last job and then they'll be earning this wings they've worked hard for.   Then comes Lark (loved her name BTW) she's. Heartbroken, and ready to reunite with the ones that left early.  I cried. 14% in, and I was a crying mess, I laughed, I swooned (man did I swoon), my heart broke.  All in a day (a girl can only take so much lol) this book was amazingly written. I seriously can't say how much i loved this book. If you haven't added to your TBR, I seriously recommend it.

This woman is killing me.

I will be dead—and soon—because of her.

Because of this tattooed, dark-haired vixen, my life is over.

Do I care?

Not one fucking bit.  She’s worth it, and I’d do it over and over again.  I’d forsake my career, my destiny, my life just to spend one second more with her.  Of course, I say this now, having not yet been caught, but I know this to be true.

I will find a way to be with her for as long as I can.

Her green eyes are liquid lust as she grabs the hem of her wicked tank top and yanks it away from her body.  Today, she’s wearing a black bra, and even though I want to see those pink, suckable nipples, I’m very much enjoying the view of her full tits spilling out of the top of her bra.

This woman is gorgeous.  So fucking beautiful.  Mine.

But for how long?

As long as she’ll have me.  And as long as they’ll let me have her.

My hands find her hips and I urge her to push harder against my dick.  The clothes between us seem like brick fucking walls.  I need her skin on mine.  Now.

As she reaches behind her back to unclasp her bra, I set to unbuttoning her jean shorts.  Once she frees her breasts and tosses her bra away, she eyes me with one brow raised.

“This is going to be pretty difficult with clothes on,” she smiles.

I growl and roll her underneath me in the middle of the bed.  “We better fix that, then.”

She giggles when I unzip her shorts and pull them down with her panties.  I climb off the bed away from her and shed myself of my jeans.  The boxers fall shortly thereafter, and then I’m back in bed between her legs—this time, with my mouth.

“I need to taste you, sweet Lark,” I murmur as my warning right before I dive in.

The moment my tongue slides between the lips of her pussy, she arches her back off of the bed.  “Holy shit!” she cries out.

My hair gets tangled in her grasp, but it doesn’t slow my roll.  I taste her like there’s no tomorrow—because there might not be.  I pleasure her as if she’s my first and last—because she will be.  I nibble her as if she’s my last meal—I can certainly hope.

With one hand holding her hip in place while I give her the best pleasure of her life, I slip a finger inside her wet opening.  She’s so hot, tight, and perfect.

I curve my finger up and search for a place sure to make her crazy.  The moment I find that elusive spot, she screams so loudly that I’m sure the neighbors will complain.  Oh wait—she is the neighbor and I don’t hear her complaining.

I don’t have to circle her sensitive skin with my tongue for very long before she completely and utterly unravels.  Her body quivers and violently shakes as she gives in to the sheer pleasure of another orgasm.  The first one I gave her moments ago was sweet.  This one was decadent and sinful.

“You’re so wet and ready for me,” I growl as I remove my finger from her body.

Her response is a ragged sigh.  Green eyes are hidden behind her eyelids, and suddenly, I need to see her.

“Lark, look at me please.”  I’m not sure where my abrupt insecurity comes from, but I have an overwhelming desire for her to want me just as badly as I want her.  To make this all make sense.  This can’t be one-sided.  That would be the ultimate death for me.

She lazily blinks her eyes open and finds mine.  So perfect.

“Do you want this?  Me?” I question as I cover her body with mine.  My dick, hard as stone, rests between us.

She raises her head in search for my lips, which will taste like her.  I can’t kiss her until I know though.

“Lar, please,” I whisper against her eager lips.

“Yes, okay?  I want this.  You.  Us.  Now fuck me.”

This time, my eyes close.  She’s Heaven and Hell in one delicious package.

When my eyes finally fly back open, I meet her pleading, green ones.  Then I grab my aching cock and tease the part of her that drips for me.

“You’re mine, baby.  Forever,” I tell her.

She bites her lip, seemingly uncertain, but nods.

I’ll take that as a deal.

Blog Tour/Review: Obligation (underground kings #2) by Aurora Rose Reynolds

Amazon US:

Amazon UK:

Barnes & Noble:

[ob-li-gey-shuh n]

An obligation is a course of action that someone is required to take, whether legal or moral.

At six years old, Myla was sent to a family her father and mother had chosen for her when they knew their time on earth was almost up. What they were unaware of was what they thought would be her safe haven would become her living hell.

Kai has been watching Myla from afar since he took over the family business from his father and inherited the responsibility of keeping her safe. When word gets back to Kai that Myla is not only in danger, but that his assets are being compromised, he immediately jumps into action and does the only thing that can be done at the time by marrying her.

Neither Myla nor Kai would have thought that something that started off as a farce would become the most important thing either of them could've ever done.

REVIEW-Received ARC for honest Review.... 5 STARS!!
I've just finished this books. I'm an emotional mess. First of all , I'm so glad I read "Until November" (her first book) I've seen Auroras books reach higher and higher.  Kai is book 2 of the Underground Kings.  He's a Major Alpha Male! I mean seriously, that has got my knickers in a twist! He's possessive, protective, and he pisses me off too!!  He has to take Myla with him, they married all of a sudden and now she's in his home, not knowing what is going on. All she know is, that with Kai, she feels protected.  They each have secrets.  They try to get past it but sooner or later they come out.   Myla is broken and yet she's a fighter!  I loved that about her. She's overcome some things, but she's kept going.   With so many surprises heading their way and lots of -heart wrenching, swoon worthy, i wanna slap you, but I love you, and i can't believe that happened- moments going on.  You don't want to miss this story. A. MUST. READ!!!  Aurora Rose Does it A-Freaking- gain!!!   She just keeps pulling me in.   Oh to be a fly on the wall and read when she's writing.

Excerpt  #1

 “Everyone is looking for you.”

I turn my head, pulling my hair out of my face as I watch a boy I’ve never seen before climb up the stairs and into my tree house.

“Who are you?” I ask him as he sits across from me.

“Kai,” he smiles, looking around. He looks a lot different than the other kids I know. His hair is long, and his skin is a lot darker than mine. “Why are you hiding?”

I shrug and look away from him. Daddy was yelling earlier; he was so mad that he was turning red. Then Mommy started crying, and Daddy started yelling louder. I heard Mommy telling Daddy that he had to send me away. I don’t want to go away. I try to be good, but sometimes, I forget to listen.

“Why are you crying?”

I look up at him and wipe my face. “I’m scared,” I whisper, wiping my nose.

“Come on. I’ll protect you,” he says, holding his hand out to me.

Then my mommy calls my name again. I look at his hand, move Mr. Bear under my arm, and put my hand in his.

“Myla!” Mommy yells, running towards me.

I can tell she has been crying again.

“Where did you go?” Her hands grab my shoulders and she shakes me hard.

“It’s my fault. I asked her to show me the tree house,” Kai tells her.

She stops shaking me then looks at him. “You shouldn’t have done that. You knew we were looking for her,” she says angrily her head.

“I’m sorry. I wasn’t thinking,” Kai says softly, putting his hands in his pockets and looking at the ground.

I look back at Mommy, and she shakes her head before grabbing my hand and pulling me with her. When I look over my shoulder at Kai, he smiles, making me smile back.

They say when you assume that you make an ass out of you and me. Kenton Mayson learned this lesson firsthand when he made assumptions about Autumn Freeman and the kind of woman she is based on what little information he had. What he finds out is she’s not only beautiful, but also smart, funny, a fighter, and exactly the kind of woman he wants to share his life with. Autumn made assumptions of her own about Kenton, and now he needs to prove her wrong in order to protect her and their future.
